Fountain Pens: Why should I go for it?

Someone asked me... What are the benefits of using fountain pens??  Why should an individual shift from using ball pens to using fountain pens? My take on this are as follows. 1. Power to change... Change the ink colour Change the nib width Change the type of grip  Change the filling system in CC/3-in-1 systems Change the Nib section to Jowo/Schmidt/or any other types 2. Style quotient A vintage look Changeable clips. Different designs And customisation. 3. Green initiatives One need not throw away like other refills.   Keep on using the same fountain pen for years altogether without generating any plastic waste. Bit debatable but use of cartridges can be against refillable options 4. Revival of a fledgling Indian fountain pen and ink industry. Brands you must have heard would be Mont Blanc or Lamy or Pilot or Platinum... Now you know about Kanwrite, Gama, Guider, Click, ASA, Kiko, Sage, Lotus, Vazir,Epitome....list is ever growing besides vintages like Gooptas, Prasad ...
